Liquid nitrogen is an effective way to treat viral warts, sun damaged skin, skin tags and many benign cosmetic lesions. It is used under the guidance of your doctor. It can be applied as a spray or a swab. You may need one or more treatments depending on the lesion. It is repeated after two weeks. For warts removal of dead thick skin by the use of a sterile blade or prior acid treatment may improve the response to subsequent cryotherapy. The patient can file the wart by using a pumice stone. There is an additional fee for each freezing session.

If you are arriving after 7.00 pm and if the clinic is very busy, we may need to ask you to return the next day or go to Ascot Whitecross at Greenlane, unless it is an Injury/Emergency or an Unwell Child and its safe to do so.
