HOW WE OPERATE DURING EACH TRAFFIC LIGHT

- Opening hours 8am to 8pm 7 days a week including public holidays.
- In clinic (Face to Face) Consultations will be condaucted as normal unless you have signs and symptoms of COVID or a close/household contact. If you are not sure, you can make a phone consultation first. (Patients with fever, cough, cold, sorethroat, diarrhea or any high risk covid history will be seen outside the clinic by appointment, phone us first-see below)
- When you come in for a COVID related consult after a phone consult, please inform the reception and stay in the car until called when you arrive at the clinic. We limit the number of patients waiting in the waiting room.
- The prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.
- Labtest orders will be sent electronically – But only if these cannot be left till a later date.
- Medical certificates will be done online – WINZ, ACC and Off work certificates. Medical certificates will be emailed to you.
We encourage patients to first join us for a virtual consult when possible(If you are unwell with covid related illness or a close/household contact). This could be done by phone or a video. Please mention the appointment is a phone consult (PC) and your contact number. Standard charges apply, except the consultation is directly related to a respiratory infection (Suspected COVID) which is then free.
- Drivers medicals, Insurance medicals, Employment medicals will not be done. The relevant authorities will not be asking you to submit these during Alert level 4.
- Our phone lines could get very busy. Try to use the online booking system or join the queue online for a phone consultation.
- If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe pain, allergic reaction, or bleeding, very unwell child, do not book – Dial 111 for an ambulance, or you can walk in and inform us.
- If you are unwell with fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of sense of smell/taste, diarrhoea, headache, muscle aches, nausea/vomiting or travelled within 14 days or had close contact with a person with COVID19 or work in a quarantine/MIQ facility please make a virtual consultation (Click here).
- If it has to be seen face to face, then we’ll make an arrangement – Book with a doctor in our Redzone at a specific time (Click here). These patients are not seen in the main clinic. Examinations and swabs will be done with strict infection prevention protocols according to Ministry of Health guidelines.

- All patients MUST wear a mask if they are entering the clinic. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a mask from the clinic.
- Scan in the COVID tracer QR code. Do not wait in the waiting room for longer duration. No chairs will be available. Have a 2m distance from others. Please hand sanitise when leaving.
- Patients do not need to present the COVID Vaccination Pass or Certificate.
- Screening questions will be asked at the door. If you have any of the signs or symptoms, we will do a phone consultation first.
- Once you check in for your appointment, you will be asked to wait in the car till a doctor or nurse calls you. Please make sure the phone number is correct and the phone is turned on.
- If you are traveling overseas and if you require a COVID19 Test at 24-48hrs, we will perform the test and it should be prepaid. Please click here for more details.
- COVID19 vaccinations will continue as usual on Fridays.
- Cervical smears, Breast screening, Contraception, iron infusions will continue. Aclasta (Zolendronate) infusions are done.
- Childhood immunisations will continue as normal. Please inform the reception when you come in and wait in the car till the nurse calls you.
- All non-urgent vaccinations will be continuing
- Xray service will be open as usual
- Pharmacy will be open as usual. Please follow their COVID protocols. The door to the pharmacy from the clinic is closed.
- Dental clinic, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Contraception clinic, Orthopedic specialists clinic may operate under covid restrictions. Please see their websites for more information.
