Flu Vaccines are available from the 1st of April 2022. It is available for all patients. Currently funded (Free) for 3 to 12yrs, Over 65, Over 55 Maori and Pacific peoples, and many other eligible patients. For all other patients, it is available for 35/=. Children above 6 months of age can take the vaccine. If it’s the first vaccine for a child aged between 6 months to 9 years, then it needs a second dose after 1 month.
