Diabetes Management & Insulin Initiation

We provide management and follow up of diabetes. If the diabetes is not controlled with oral medications, we will need to initiate insulin. Some doctors have the ability to initiate and titrate insulin.
We will also request you do do blood tests every 3 months, urine tests every 6 months and refer for eye testing for diabetic retinopathy every two years. Other diabetes related complications will be assessed yearly and will be referred to appropriate services.
