I was raised on a farm in Northland and schooled in the small town of Kaikohe.

My father is from Iran and mother Pakeha/Maori (Ngati Awa).

I studied medicine at Auckland University.

I started working at Three Kings A+M in 1997 and now work solely in the GP wing.

Outside of work I love to run to stay fit.
