A Doppler ultrasound is a test that uses high-frequency sound waves to measure the amount of blood flow through your arteries and veins. This is used in the clinic to check the circulation in lower legs.
This is also used to listen to fetal heart sounds which can be heard after 12 weeks of gestation.
